Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet T-1. In addition to M occupancy, specify the CBC occupancy group classification(s) of the tenant space on the plans per CBC chapter 3 including office area (B) and storage area (S1 or S2?).Sheet A-2.2. Relocate the tactile exit route sign from the new partition by the door E to the latch side of the exterior door by the door D.Per submitted disabled access compliance documentation form, identify the items to be made accessible for path of travel upgrades. add note to the scope of work that: Scope of accessible path of travel upgrades:Items to be made accessible: Installation of 2 grab bars and signage.The existing non-compliant van accessible parking space is not part of the accessible path of travel upgrades per 2019 CBC 11B-202.4 item #8.Detail 4. Revise location of the 30”x48” clear floor space not encroached by the shower posts.Detail 5/ ADA-1. Revise wall mounted restroom sign to comply with technical requirements for raised characters (CBC 11B-703.2), braille (CBC 11B-703.3), visual characters (CBC 11B-703.5), and requirements for installation height and location (CBC 11B-703.4). No pictogram is required. The following signs illustrate acceptable examples for designation sign text:Provide detail for installing toilet rear grab bar.
