Final plans and calculation shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record. Calculation assumption for existing 4x14 beam: The reasoning for assuming the lumber grade of #1 & better was not acceptable. Please assume worse case if as built plans are not available. Provide calculation for the anchorage of the mechanical unit to existing roof frame member. Steel Trusses: Please provide full analysis for the existing steel trusses supporting the new mechanical units. “By inspection” statement was not acceptable. (End of Comment)
