The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
Existing buildings are type V-A construction building – please provide the following
Provide detail to show the existing balcony protected with one-hour floor assembly to remain.
New structural frame member (beam) – Provide detail to show one-hour protection for the proposed beam. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan.
Existing column supporting the new beam – please show fire protection for the existing column to remain.
Please verify and note on plan: All existing residential units are equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in accordance with CBC Section 907.2.9 and 915.1.4, respectively.
Provide structural calculation for the new 4x12 beam.
