All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet SP-1.0: Site plan was incomplete. Please provide a complete site showing all property lines and all buildings within the same lot. Sheet A-1.0: Existing Building Plan – Please clarify and show all the unpermitted works that will be removed. Sheet A-1.0 & Detail 2/AD-1.0: On the plan, please clearly show 48” clear maneuver space on the push side of the door with 12” clear from door strike edge. (11B-404.2.4)Provide detail of door threshold in relative to door landing on both side of door. Egress Door shall not be blocked by the vehicle at all time. Please provide/show bollards outside of door maneuver space. Detectable warning (truncated dome) is required outside of the building door. The detectable warning shall not locate/encroach into the required maneuver space. Accessible parking stall and access aisle: The length of the parking shall measure from the short side of the access aisle, please see the parking configure below. The accessible parking access aisle should not be reduced or obstructed by the required bollards and truncated domes from the comments above. On the plan, please show location of Additional Signs in according to Section 11B-502.8. An additional sign shall be posted either; 1) in a conspicuous place at each entrance to an off-street parking facility or 2) immediately adjacent to on-site accessible parking and visible from each parking space. Size: The additional sign shall not be less than 17 inches (432 mm) wide by 22 inches (559 mm) high. Lettering: The additional sign shall clearly state in letters with a minimum height of 1 inch (25 mm) the following:
“Unauthorized” vehicles parked in designated accessible spaces not displaying distinguishing placards or special license plates issued for persons with disabilities will be towed away at the owner’s expense. Towed vehicles may be reclaimed at: _________________________ or by telephoning _______________________."Restroom Detail: Please specify door size and door hardware. Please show dimension 48” clear maneuver space on the push side of door.
