Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-3.1: Please show/provide (maintain) minimum 3-ft clear around the spray booth unit per Section 2404.3.3.5 CMC. 2nd Review Comment: Please verify existing interior wall is concrete wall. The spray booth is located on the second floor: Floor supporting the spray booth shall be constructed with minimum one-hour fire-resistance rating floor assembly. Walls supporting the one-hour floor assembly shall be rated at equal or greater than the floor assembly. Please revise plan and provide details for floor and wall assembly. 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Typically, fire-rated floor assembly was not required in type III-B construction building. Please provide details of existing floor assembly to show it meet minimum one-hour fire-rated assembly per Table 721.1(3). Wall supporting the one-hour floor assembly shall be rated at equal or greater than the floor assembly. Please provide construction detail of existing floor and wall supporting the 2nd floor. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Structural supportProvide floor framing plan and details to show support of the spray booth unit, including anchorage. 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Please provide existing floor framing plan showing floor frame members supporting the proposed spray booth. Please coordinate with structural calculation. Detail 8/AM1.1 was not applicable. Please verify existing structural floor assembly and thickness. Provide complete structural calculation. 2nd Review Comment: Structural floor assembly – Please verify existing floor slab.
