Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A0.1: 2nd Review Comment: The plans have been revised – The following information is required: The breakroom has more than 50 occupants; hence, it’s considered a group A-3 occupancy. Please include the A-3 occupancy group under the Occupancy Classification. Occupancy separation is requiredAutomatic Fire Sprinkler is required for assembly use space located on the second floor. Please contact OCFA for additional requirement. Sheet A1.1: The accessible parking located adjacent to the property line (west side) did not comply with the code. Please relocate accessible parking stall so that the person parking the car does not require to travel behind the other vehicles. 2nd Review Comment: Please realign the accessible parking to provide a straight accessible route (access aisle) so that the person is not required to travel behind the other vehicles. Accessible parking stalls: Please provide details, including dimensions, marking and signage, of accessible parking stalls and clearly cross-reference onto the plan. 2nd Review Comment: Van accessible parking space can be 12-ft wide with 5-ft wide access aisle. 2nd Review Comment: Accessible parking stall located at the covered parking (under the 2nd floor above) shall be remain. Please remove note #151 and do not remove the existing accessible parking stall under the 2nd floor. On the plan, please show/provide detectable warning and curb ramp where it occurred. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. 2nd Review Comment: Truncated domes are not required at the accessible parking access aisles – Please remove. In addition, provide truncated domes at the building exterior door located adjacent to the driveway, and at the pedestrian area crosses the covered parking area. On the plan, please provide/specify all the suites number within the building (first and second). Please coordinate with Planning Division for addressing. 2nd Review Comment:Please show suite number to match with A2.1 & A2.2. Sheet A0.4: Stairway width calculation: There was a typo for the required width. Please coordinate and revise accordingly. 2nd Review Comment: Second Floor Occupant loads are at 474 occupants – the existing width of the stairways appear not meet the required width. Please check existing stairway width with the required width. Second floor: On the plan, please clearly show suites number for separate suites and clearly show the demising walls. 2nd Review Comment: Please show suite number to match with A2.1 & A2.2.Please provide an accessible ramp complying with section 11B-405 for at the change in elevation at the hallway. Provide details and clearly cross-reference onto the plan. (11B-206.2.4)2nd Review Comment:Each area within each suite shall be connected with an accessible route. Provide an accessible ramp complying with Section 11B-405 within suite 201 where there are change of elevations. Provide an accessible route to the barber room. Sheet A2.1 & A2.2: Reminder: Please coordinate with revised egress plan for the required changes. 2nd Review Comment: The revised information showed as a non-sprinklered building – Please revise plan to show/provide one-hour fire-rated corridor on first and second level. Provide one-hour fire-rated wall assembly and opening protection. Second Floor Restroom: Please provide women restroom floor plan to show restroom to be accessible to the person with disabilities. Pleas show restroom in compliance with 11B, Division 6. 2nd Review Comment: Detail 1 – Please show 60” turning space within the restroom (outside of the accessible toilet compartment). Restroom door shall not encroach more than 12” into the turning space.
