Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. Sheet A-1: Wall between garage and new addition - Please specify/provide minimum ½” gypsum board on the garage side of wall. Specify door size for office door. Please clarify if new fireplace is provided on the new office side. Wood-burning fireplace is not allow for new fireplace. Specify on plan, manufacturer’s name and ICC/UL listing number for the gas fireplace, if new fireplace is provided. Specify roofing material for the new addition. Sheet S-0: Roof plan – please revise plan to show cricket divert water toward the edge of the roof. Section B: Please revise building section to show finish slab of new addition higher than the existing garage slab. Please provide information for the section notes called out on the building sections. Sheet S-1: Roof framing plan: Please show/provide strap between existing wall and new wall (at line 1 & at line A), at top plates. Detail 8: please revise detail to provide minimum 5 -16d nails for ceiling to rafter lap connection. Detail 11: Please specify 2x12 ridge board. Detail 5/S-1 called out for wall between new addition and existing garage was not applicable. Please revise provide detail to show existing garage footing with stem wall and garage slab located lower than the new slab. (End of comment)
