(CRC R301.1.3, CBC 107.1 and 107.3.4.1). Please verify use of the structure. Is It patio cover or it is a room addition. There is no permit for patio cover or addition on the city record. Please provide date and permit number for the subject structure. If the structure is not permitted, please see planning before submittal and apply for the permit before applying for solar panel permit. If the structure is permitted, provide dimensioned roof plan. Justify existing roof rafters can take load from uplift. ( Show number of anchors on each rafter ) On the calculation show exact location of anchors on the rafters and show the point load from each attachment. Justify the roof rafter connection to the beam can take the uplift load. ( for the patio cover)
