If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Scope of work under this building permit application:
- Revise project job description on the building permit application worksheet to reflect the work to be done
under the subject building permit application.
- Construction drawings must clearly show all work to be done under the subject building permit application.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Submittal was incomplete. Please provide complete plans (architectural and structural plans), and calculation for building plan check. Plans shall be prepared and stamped, signed and dated by a California registered civil engineer and/or licensed architect. Building Plan check cannot be reviewed at this point. Plan review and commenting will be at time of complete resubmittal. [11/16/2022] Plans are provided on the second submittal. The following are required based on the resubmittal. Sheet A-0: Please provide the following building information on the cover page: Occupancy GroupsType of ConstructionBuilding area and number of storyApplicable Codes: 2019 CBC, CPC, CEC, CMC, CFC, California Green Building, and California Energy Code. Project Description: The job description was incomplete. Please revise to include all the works will be done and done without the building permit, such as legalize existing unpermitted dyno system installed inside room located between control room and auto parts storage room, unpermitted large wall opening between auto parts storage and new dyno. Legalize 3 A/C units located above office area in the mezzanine area.Site plan: Please provide site plan showing property lines and all buildings/structures located on the same lot. On the plan, please show/provide all parking stalls. On the plan, please show/provide accessible parking stall(s) and an accessible route from the accessible parking stall(s) to the building accessible entrance. Accessible parking shall comply with 11B-502. Accessible route shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel; 2% maximum cross-slope; and 48” minimum width. Accessible route exceeding 5% slope shall comply with Section 11B-405 for ramp.There are multiple building address on the building – Please clearly show building address number and demising walls. Plan shall be drawn to scale and must be legible.Floor plan: Please provide a complete floor plan showing existing wall vs. new walls vs. wall to be removed. Provide wall legend. Works done without building permit shall be considered new works. Opening in fire-rated wall shall be protected. Provide opening protection. On the plan, please show/provide accessible restroom and shall be accessible to the area of alteration. Plan shall be drawn to scale and must be legible. Sheet S-1: Provide structural calculation for the equipment pit wall and foundation. Referenced detail 2: Please specify ICC listing number for the metal studs. Referenced detail 2 and 3: For clarity, please specify existing steel girder beam. Roll-up door: Please provide structural support for the roll-up door. On the plan, please show location of new opening(s) in existing wall. Provide structural details for the new opening in existing concrete walls, and clearly cross-reference onto the plan. Please provide structural roof plan to show location of replaced AC units. On the plan, please show maximum weight of the roof top units. Provide structural calculation and details for new roof top. **Plans are incomplete. Plan review will continue at time of resubmittal and additional review comments may be required. Additional plan check fee may be required if the all the plan check comments are not addressed/resolved on the third (3rd) submittal.
