All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet T-1: Structural engineer was listed on the contact list – Please remove if it’s not applicable or plans shall be stamped by the engineer. Sheet A-1: Site plan: Van accessible parking stall shall be located on the left of the access aisle. Please revise plan accordingly. Detail 1: Please revise plan to show Van accessible parking stall to locate on the left side of the access aisle. Detail 1 and 5: Please revise plan to show curb ramp to be site specific (match with the existing condition on site). Revise details and show truncated dome accordingly. Site plan: Please provide/show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building primary entrance. Accessible route shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel, 2% cross-sloped and 48” minimum wide. Sheet A-2: Please provide all keynotes information on the plan. Doors: Please clearly cross-reference to sheet D-2 for doors. Exterior door: Please show minimum 5-ft maneuver space with 24” pass the door strike edge. Sheet A-3: Reflected Ceiling Plan: Each room shall have both supply and return air grills. Please coordinate with mechanical plans and revise plan accordingly. Sheet D-2: Please provide detail for door threshold and cross-reference detail onto the plan. Detail 1: Please revise restroom plan view and elevation view to show water closet locates 17”-18” from the adjacent wall, measure to the centerline of the fixtures.
