The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the school fee work sheet, signed by
the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.
Sheet 1. In new addition area, attic access is not required per CRC R807.1 due to low attic vertical clearance.
ENERGY
Indicate wall and ceiling insulation R value in the building section AA/A-3 on plan.
Indicate maximum U-factor and maximum SHGC value for new windows and new glazed doors on plan.
The building architectural designer shall complete and sign the “Responsible person’s declaration statement”, it is located on the last page of the CF1R form on sheet 3 of the T24 sheet.

STRUCTURAL
Building plans are altered after last approval. Submit (2) copies of structural framing plans, foundation plans, connection details and structural calculation, prepared, stamped signed and dated by a licensed professional engineer or architect. Further review is required.
The opening between new family room and existing house has been increased to 9.5 feet.
Justify the 4x6 beam in new addition still work or increase beam size. Provide calculations and revise plans.
Provide and specify the new beam with connection details on the existing house wall on plan.
Sheet A-3. Refer to framing plan hip beam (#3) shown on roof framing plan. Please verify if the 2x8 hip is capable to support the concrete tiles with 10.5 feet beam span.
