5. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
☒Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
☐Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
☐Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700).
☐Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
☐School District Approval; and a copy of the school fee worksheet, completed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.
☐Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
☐Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039).Comments have been provided on drawing and calculation hard copies in relation to all comments below. These may be picked up at Building and Planning department at applicants’ discretion.DrawingsSheet 2Revise sheet number in detail references to refer to new sheet.Please note if beams are new or existing where beams are shown on plans (e.g. at #8-11 and 12-18) for clarity.Verify if new foundation occurs at supports #1, 3, and 5. No new foundation extent is shown on plan, please provide.Provide end connection detail for new 4x6 girder beam atop #19 and 20.PC #2: Connection at ends of new 4x6 Girder is not clear. Please verify connections at ends near existing walls, is this new girder bearing on top of the walls?Verify if new 4x6 girder is supporting existing floor joist, provide detail showing connection of existing floor joist to new girder.New 2’x2’x2’ concrete pad in enlarged repair plan does not match foundation thickness found in C/2.5.
