If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet T-1: Truss Deferral Note: Please omit the deferral note. Roof trusses package shall be provided at time of resubmittal along with the revised plans. Cannot be deferred. Site plan: Please provide an architect site plan clearly show all property lines, north arrow, street, and all buildings/structure located on the same lot. Overlay the aerial map is not acceptable. Scope work: Please include the replacement of existing 2 x roof frames; roof plywood sheathing and new roofing (see framing plans & building section)Building Summary: Please specify building floor area. Fastener Table: Please revise information to be legible. Increase font size. Sheet A-1: Ceiling height shall be minimum 7’-6” height. Please provide new reflected ceiling plan to show ceiling height and ceiling finish construction and construction details. Sheet A-2: Opening shall not be provided at the fire wall (between two buildings on two separate lots). Please infill opening with the required fire-rated wall assembly (math existing). Show 48” clear in front of the water closet. On the plan, please provide occupant load calculation and clearly identify exit doorways. Exit through the back of the building: exit shall be unobstructed and continued to the public right of way. Please show exit path. Sheet A-3: Structural Review CommentsTrusses package shall be part of this submittal and cannot be deferred. Please omit/remove the Truss Deferral Notes. Built-up Roofing note: Please revise notes to be legible; increase font size. Provide construction detail for the new interior wall. Clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Provide detail to show attachment of new 2x roof rafters to girder trusses. Detail shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Provide detail of roof girder trusses to exiting building column pilaster. Existing wall anchorage: Please provide structural calculation and details for wall anchorage in accordance with ASCE7-16, Section 12.11. The anchorage system shall be capable of resisting the greater of:0.4 SDS x ka X weight of wall0.2 ka x weight of wallDiaphragms shall be provided with continuous ties or struts between diaphragm chords to distribute the anchorage into the diaphragm.  Added chords are permitted to be used to form subdiaphragms to transmit the anchorage forces to the main continuous cross-ties.  The maximum length-to-width ratio of the subdiaphragm ratio shall be 2.5 to 1.  (ASCE 7, 12.11.2.2.1)Exterior wall line at the front of the building where openings are provided – Please show/provide lateral resisting system at the front of the building. Provide calculation to justify lateral resisting system along this wall line is capable of resisting the lateral force. (End of Comment)
