All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check
engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.Sheet ST1.0: On the plan, please clearly show location of detectable warning where required. Provide enlarged plans as necessary. 2nd Review Comment: The locations of truncated provided on plan were insufficient. Please provide enlarged plan to show where the truncated is required. The detectable warning shall be placed/provided in such a correct location so that it would give the persons with visually impaired warning before crossing into a vehicular area. The truncated dome should not place within the required door landing. 3rd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Please revise site plan to provide truncated dome where a walk is crossed a vehicular area (ex. At the corner of the building, outside of the door landings). Please see marked-up plan. Door shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. 3rd Review Comment: Detail 3 on sheet a6.0 (second floor restroom) – please revise plan to provide minimum 60” clear space for the water closet; measured from the side wall to the edge of the sink. Structural Review Comment: New opening created for exterior door: Please provide structural calculation and details for new opening in existing walls. 2nd Review Comment: Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan so that it can be easily located. 3rd Review Comment: it appears that new openings are provided for the new exterior doors – Please provide structural details for the new wall opening and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Provide structural calculation and details for equipment and tanks. 2nd Review Comment: Could not locate details and calculation for the water tanks. 3rd Review Comment: Detail 104/S-401 – X braces at top of the water tank were insufficient. Please provide detail to show connection of the L strap to the top of the water tank. And, specify maximum height of the tank. (End of Comment)
