Please pick up submitted plans for additional comments.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).CORRECTION COMMENTS:Updated correction comments per revised plan, please have the architect in record, review the design, provide required justification and response:On the cover sheet, please specify the type of construction, occupancy group and if the fire sprinklered is installed on (3) new pergolas.Please justify the location of the pergolas on the plan to comply with the following code requirements:When two or more buildings are on the same property and they are not analyzed to comply as one building, the building shall have an assumed property line between them for determining wall and opening protection, and roof cover requirements or treated as a single building. (CBC 705.3)The elevation between entryway from court yard to the proposed pergolas shall be accessible. Please provide cross-reference accessible detail showing elevations between them are accessible. Provide structural framing design, details and calculations to design the pergola or provide ICC number or third party approved number showing the pergolas are reviewed and approved by the accepted third party agencies that they are in compliance with the 2019 California Building Code.Provide structural calculation, details, and plans to design the anchorage of the post to the footing and concrete footing of the pergolas. Calculation and plans to be stamped, dated and signed by a licensed professional.END OF COMMENTS
