All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check
engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.**A meeting with the architect/applicant is recommended, for resolving the outstanding comments. Sheet a0.1: 2nd Review Comment: Door ‘C’ at hallway adjacent to Video Surveillance room – Please remove doorway or revise plan to show door swing in the direction of travel (outward).3rd Review Comment: Plan was not revised. 4th Review Comment:Door ‘C’- due to door swinging direction change, the following are required: Relocate door C’s hinge side to the interior wall so that it would not block the exterior door opening and landing. Door C for Video and Nutrition Pesticide storage room: Revise plans to swing door inward so that it will not block the adjacent door opening and landing. Structural Review Comment: Provide structural calculation and details for equipment and tanks. 2nd Review Comment: Could not locate details and calculation for the water tanks. 3rd Review Comment: Detail 104/S-401 – X braces at top of the water tank were insufficient. Please provide detail to show connection of the L strap to the top of the water tank. And, specify maximum height of the tank. 4th Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Detail 104/S-401: Please provide enlarged detail to show connection/attachment of Strap cable clip to foundation. Steal base plate may be required. Provide calculation to justify the strap cable clip capable of resisting the tension loads. Provide calculation for the anchor bolts for uplift force. (End of Comment)
