A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Clearly indicate the scope of work under this building permit application: - Revise project job description on the building permit application worksheet to reflect the work to be done under the subject building permit application. - Construction drawings must clearly show all work to be done under the subject building permit application. - Delete all notes and details from drawings that are not a part of the work to be done under the subject building permit application. This includes mechanical, plumbing and electrical work that is not specifically required by the Building Code.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Please provide the following information on the cover sheet: Type of Construction2nd Review Comment: Please specify type of construction as type “III-B” per permit record. Occupancy groups2nd Review Comment: Please specify occupancy group ‘M’ as for retail space building. On the plan, please show/provide accessible parking stalls and an accessible route from the accessible parking to the building primary accessible entrance. 2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Please provide the following: At least one Van accessible parking is required. Please revise plan to provide/show 9-ft parking space with 8-ft access aisle located on the passenger side. The rear door appears not to be a main entrance. Please provide/show an accessible route from the accessible parking to the building primary accessible entrance. Accessible route shall be 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel, 2% maximum cross-slope, and 48” minimum width. Provide construction details for new furred out wall. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. 2nd Review Comment: Detail 2 and 3 on sheet D-1 – The furred wall should not be attached to the existing T-bar ceiling angle clip. Please revise detail to show furred wall top track attach to the existing CMU wall. Also, please clarify if insulation and finish drywall will be installed on the furred wall. Accessible restrooms: Please revise plan to show minimum 60” clear floor space for the water closet. The 60” shall be measured from the side wall to the edge of the sink. 2nd Review Comment: Please revise restroom plans to show/provide 60” turning circle within the restroom. Door swing shall not encroach more than 12” into the turning circle. Show dimension on the plan. **Plan was incomplete. Additional plan review comment may be required at time of resubmittal.
