Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. ☒Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). ☐Fire Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700). ☒Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). ☒School District Approval; and a copy of the school fee worksheet, completed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work. ☐Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. ☐Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by the Public Works Agency (647-5039).Comments have been provided on drawing and calculation hard copies in relation to all comments below. Sheet S-1Provide non-bearing wall connections at top and bottom. Ensure no load bearing occurs from framing above.PC #2: Current detail 13 and 14/S-D provided is load bearing. Provide non-load bearing condition (e.g. slip connection and gap) to ensure no load transferred to non-bearing wall. Verify if interior wall adjacent to ridge board is a load bearing wall. Coordinate with section X/A-2, section looks to show ceiling joist bearing atop wall. Provide design for load transfer to new floor framing. PC #2: Non-bearing cross section shows ceiling joist atop wall with blocking and angle clip. Similar to comment #6, ensure no load transferred to non-bearing walls or design as bearing walls. Provide ADU patio cover post and framing sizes and connections on plans. PC #2: Provide bottom connection for exterior posts, it is unclear how posts are supported. Or verify if post is supported to wall.PC #3: Provide reinforcing in new foundation and dowel into wall foundation. Ensure reinforcing requirements for Simpson CB44 is met.End of Comment)
