All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-1: Sheet Index: MEP – Please specify “Under Separate Review”.Sheet A-2: Detail 2/A-2, Drinking fountain: Please revise detail to show minimum and maximum height for the high drinking fountain, and show location of spout from wall. The spout shall be located 15 inches (381 mm) minimum from the vertical support and 5 inches (127 mm) maximum from the front edge of the unit, including bumpers. Spout outlets of drinking fountains for standing persons shall be 38 inches (965 mm) minimum and 43 inches (1092 mm) maximum above the finish floor or ground.Where six or more toilet compartments are provided, or where the combination of urinals and water closets totals six or more fixtures, toilet compartments complying with Section 11B-604.8.2 (ambulatory toilet compartment) shall be provided in the same quantity as the toilet compartments required to comply with Section 11B-604.8.1. Please show/provide ambulatory toilet compartment in women’s and men’s restroom. Sheet A-3: Parking Data: 2 percent of 516 parking stall is 11. Therefore, 11 accessible parking stalls are required. (Table 11B-208.2)Sheet A-5:Please show dimension for hallway between offices and hallway between office and existing stairway. Wall Legend: on the plan, please clearly indicate existing walls and new walls. Break room: On the plan, please specify counter height. Counter space shall be accessible to persons with disabilities. Note: Please revise note for mechanical ventilation in accordance with 2022 CMC. Plan Legend: Please revise door note to reference to sheet A-12 for door schedule.

On the plan, please show/provide accessible elevator(s).
Please provide 2nd floor accessible restrooms floor plan to show compliance with 11B-Division 6.
Please show dimensions for all hallways clear space between offices and cubicle spaces. Sheet A-12: Note on the plan: Door hardware shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. Structural Comment: Glass wall panels and doors: In additional to the architectural wall details, provide structural calculation and details to show support for the glass wall panels and doors. Show support at base and top of glass wall panel. Structural details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. If mechanical rooftops are provided, please provide roof framing plan and structural calculation and detail for roof support and attachment. (End of Comment)
