All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Grading Permit. Application is made through the Building Safety Division (647-5800) and the plan review is by
the Public Works Agency (647-5039)Sheet T-1: Please verify job address. It appears that the location of the proposed equipment and canopy are at 209 W. Walnut Street.List of Drawings: Civil Drawings, Electrical Plans and Energy Compliance Forms are under separate submittal and separate review – Please omit/remove C’s and E’s sheets from the List of Drawings. Canopy: General scope and note – Please revise to specify Canopy will be under a separate submittal. Plan shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record. Sheet A-1: The canopy is not part of this permit application and should be under a separate submittal. Please revise note to specify “Canopy to be submitted under a separate submittal”. Canopy shall be a type II-B construction and shall be located at least 10-ft from the property line. It might affect the location of the proposed tank and dispenser. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Please verify with OCFA for required setback of the proposed fuel tank from the property line. Sheet F-2: Please provide structural foundation plan showing foundation dimensions for the proposed above ground tank. Show location of anchor bolts, anchor bolts spacing, and minimum distance to the edge of slab, etc. Provide structural material specification (concrete, steel rebar, design parameters, ect.). Provide structural detail of equipment support anchorage and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. Structural calculation: The new calculations shall reference and comply with the 2022 CBC. Please update formulas, design stresses, schedules and computer sheets as necessary. Provide anchor bolt calculation for connection to concrete slab. Design for crack and un-crack concrete condition.
