The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
Sheet A0.000:
Engineer of record is required to visit the site / building and provide a report identifying specific locations and itemize the required items to be repair and replace.
Note on plan: All concealed work installed without permits must be exposed for inspection to the satisfaction of the Building Inspector. This includes methods of attachment and all footings, structural members, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and insulation.
It appears that there is no property line between the two building (1329 & 1327). 1329 and 1327 are located on the same lot. Please coordinate and revise site plan accordingly.
Scope of work: Property line fence and gate are not part of the permit application. Please coordinate scope of work and permit application job description. Revise plan and permit application as necessary, and clearly show on plan.
Scope of work: Please clarity/show location of concrete floor. If it’s concrete driveway, please state such concrete driveway repair.
On the plan, please clearly show specific location of the repairs.

It appears that there is no property line between the two buildings – Please revise elevation to show the two buildings are located on the same lot.
Please specify the extend of stairway and handrail repair. Are the entire handrail and rails along the stairways will be replaced? Are stairway stringers, beams and posts/columns will be remained?
Guardrails: Please clearly show location and limit of guardrails will be repair or replaced. Are the entire guardrails on second and third level will be replaced? Please clarify on plan.
Replaced handrails shall comply with the current code. In addition to the 34”-38” height handrail, 44” height guardrails are required on both sides of the open stairway.
Sheet A2.00:
Please provide structural framing plan(s) show existing frames, existing frames to remain, existing frames to replace.
On the framing plan, please clearly show specific location and structural members that need to be replaced.
Handrails: Provide structural detail for handrails support.
Stairway detail: Please provide detail to show support of existing stairway stringers (at both ends).
Details indicated “replace were damage occurs” was not insufficient. Location and member where replaced is required shall be clearly identify on the framing plan(s).
Provide detail to show connection of wood handrails to steel tube.
Provide detail for railing picket attachment at top and bottom.
Structural calculation: Please revise structural calculation to show the applicable code and standards.
