All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.
Clearances –The approval from the following agencies are required prior to Building permit issuance:
Planning Division – After the Building Division’s approval, Building Division staff will notify the Planning Division for approval. For approval status, contact the Planning Division at (714) 647-5804 or visit the Planning Division counters.Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) - Submit plans to OCFA may be required.Visit www.ocfa.org for submittal information and locations. If you need assistance or have questions regarding requirements for review, please contact OCFA at 714-573-6108 or visit OCFA at 1 Fire Authority Road, Irvine, CA 92602. After the building division’s approval, bring an OCFA approved plan to the Building Division counters for prove of OCFA approval.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work- Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.Extra plan check fee–Additional plan check fee may be required after the third review cycle (starting on the 4th review) on hourly basis.

Per plan check response by applicant, the storage racks design will be under separate permit. Due to scope of work changes, plan check comments areupdated as follows:
General code requirements:
Prior to resubmit the plans, contact case permit technician, Allissa Zuniga at 714-647-5854, to schedule an appointment for next submittal. Scope of work in City’s record must be updated to remove storage rack from current scope prior to plan check.
Sheet A-1. Show and identify all property lines on the site plan.
Sheet A-1. Under Scope-of-Work, remove “The storage racks under separate permit” from the scope of work.
All sheets. Completely remove all storage rack information throughout the plans.
