Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings (647-5839 or 647-5700)- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)This is a high-rise building. Revise fire-rating of the elevator lobby door from 20-min to 45-min. (403.6.1, 406.3.2, ch30, 3007.6.3, 3008.6.3)Note on plan. The fire door assembly in an enclosed fire service access elevator lobby shall comply with the smoke and draft control door assembly requirements of section 716.2.1.1 and be tested in accordance with UL1784 without an artificial bottom seal.Glass site-light shall be 45-min. minimum fire-rating per Table 716.1(2).This revision requires Fire Department approval prior to building permit issuance.
