Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet CS-1: Scope of work: Please describe the use of the proposed T.I. Is this a dancing studio where training/teaching and skill development, not in a school or academic program and not classified as assembly use? Occupancy Group: If the intend use of the space is for training/teaching and skill development, not in a school or academic program and not classified as assembly use, it may classify as group ‘B’ occupancy. (304.1)If the proposed T.I is for an assembly use (group A occupancy), a California licensed architect is required for the project. Please specify on plan, the building is non-sprinklered; unless otherwise. Sheet IN-1 & SPE-1: Line Legend: Accessible route – Please specify 5% maximum slope, measured in the direction of travel and 2% maximum cross-slope. Location of accessible parking access aisle in relative to the entrance door: A minimum 5-ft landing and maneuver space is required at the door, and a minimum 3-ft strip of truncated dome shall be provided outside the required maneuver space. The accessible parking and access aisle should ship away from the maneuver space and truncated dome (5-ft landing + 3-ft truncated dome strip). Please coordinate and revise plans as required above. Sheet A1-1, A1-2 & A1-4: For easy coordination, please rotate floor plans to match with the site plan coordinate. Please transfer all the handwritten notes (Reception & Corridor) onto the electronic file prior to printing. Please specify “corridor” instead of “hall”. Please provide/show an accessible service counter/desk at the reception area. Please redesign the floor plan show that the restrooms can be access in the same general area, without entering the another room (room #1). All corridor shall be protected with a one-hour fire-rated wall and ceiling assembly. Please provide fire-rated construction details and clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Sheet A1-4: Referenced section A1/A1-5: Please revise section to wall braces to top chord of trusses. Reminder: fire-rated corridor shall be extended to the roof sheathing, or terminated at the bottom lid the ceiling of the same construction as the wall. Sheet A1-6 & A1-7: Utility plan is not part of this plan review and approval – Please note “FOR REFERENCE ONLY”.Sheet A1-9: Please provide occupant load calculation for each room and space. Egress shall not go through little leaper room #2. Please revise plan to show exit corridor connect directly to the exit doorway or connect to a lobby area that leading to an exit doorway. Exit doorway that serving building with more than 49 occupants shall be swing in the direction of travel (outward). Little leaper room #1 door that leading to the corridor – Please relocate door so that the door swing shall not encroaching into the adjacent door’s maneuver space. Sheet S1: Reminder: Plan must be legible and shall not be copied. **Plan was incomplete additional plan check comments and additional plan check fee may be required.
