If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker. Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans. The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet 2: Please coordinate with structural foundation design for the minimum spacing between the lift modules. 2nd Review Comment: Response was insufficient. The following are required. Per structural design, a minimum of 65.96” (66”) x 65.96” (66”) soil area is required at each supporting column (see calculation page 5 of 5, load case 1). Please coordinate with the lift specification for columns location. New concrete pad may be required for the proposed storage lift. Where two lifts are placed adjacent to one another, the loads are double and the effective soil area is larger. Please coordinate and design foundation for the proposed vertical storage lifts. New concrete pad are required for the proposed equipment (vertical storage lifts). 3rd Review Comment:Response and revised calculation for slab design was insufficient. Please design slab with the concentrated loads for side by side equipment with the seismic load combination. The seismic would not cancel out as mentioned in the response. Please place the lifts far apart or provide concrete pad for the proposed equipment. Sheet 4: Please provide the following – Per calculation 12 anchor bolts are required on each side of the module – Please revise sections to graphically show required number of anchor bolts (3?) at each column plate. Detail C: Please revise detail graphically show minimum number of anchor bolts per plate, and provide minimum 4” embedment, per calculation. Required minimum slab space for supporting the module column: Please coordinate with architectural floor plan for the spacing between multiple storage modules located adjacent to one another. 2nd3rdReview Comment: Response was insufficient. Please see 2nd review comments above for the supporting foundation requirement. 4th Review Comment: per revised structural calculation the existing slab was assumed to be 6 ¾” with compressive strength of 4848 psi. Please revise plan with the following information: Revise note #6 to specify 6-3/4” existing concrete slab with minimum 4848 psi. For clarity specify concrete information (6-3/4” existing concrete slab with minimum 4848 psi) on slab elevation detail. Specify on plan “concrete compressive strength test is required. The concrete compressive strength test report will be required to present to the building inspector prior to inspection sign-off.”(End of Comment)
