All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Please refer to red marks on the drawings for additional plan check comments. Revise drawings to show compliance.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714) 573-6100).Sheet T1-0. Show correct type of construction: III-B.Sheet T1-0. Show occupancy group: B, H-3, F-1.Sheet T1-0. Specify the content/material to be stored on the racks.Sheet T1-0. Update the number of the total racks and indicate type of racks in the scope of work. By calculating the drawings, the revised plan shows (10) type A racks and (4) type B racks. Please clarify and show correct number and type of racks in the scope of work. The modification, removing existing or adding new fences and gates are not part of this permit scope. Please complete remove any proposed work of them from the drawings.Indicate the total height of rack including the material height show on top shelve per allowable height specified in structural calculations. Show also provided vertical clearance between bottom of the roof/ceiling and top of the stored material on the top racks.Sheet A2-0. Draw and print the egress plan to scale.Sheet A2-0. H-3Not Permitted150Sheet A2-0. Revise the travel distance calculation from the remotest point by the existing fence at the end of the aisle between rack A and rack B to an exit. Justify the travel distance.Sheet A2-0. Two exits or exit access doorways from any space shall be provided where the design occupant load or the common path of travel distance exceeding the values listed in Table 1006.2.1. Recommend to remove (2) proposed type A racks to provide second exit. See red mark on plan.Sheet A2-0. The drawings shall present the permissible configurations or limitations as to the maximum number of shelves or rails, the maximum distance between them, and the maximum distance from the floor to the bottom shelf or rail.In the structural calculation book, please include all pages of calculation for rack type A and type B (single and back-to-back).Sheet SED.
