An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have abandoned / expired after 180 days of the date of filing, unless such application has been issued.
All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- Orange County Sanitation District (714) 593-5756Sheet A2.11: Site plan, detectable warning – Please provide/show the detectable warning wrap around the door (outside the required maneuver space). Sheet A3.11: One-hour wall and ceiling assembly as required for the exit passage way – Please provide ICC or UL listing report number for the fire-rated thermal fiber panel; otherwise, provide construction detail for a one-hour fire-rated wall and ceiling assembly. Provide details on plans and provide verification of a tested assembly to achieve the required fire-rating. Door D19 open to the exit passage way: Please provide minimum 1-hour rated door with smoke seal. Sheet A8.11: Building sections – Please provide draftstopping in conceal space between the existing floor and new ceiling panel, to subdivide combustible ceiling so that horizontal floor area do not exceed 1,000 square feet. (CBC Section 718.3)Detail 9/SP9.11, new panel wall located adjacent to the existing wall: Concealed spaces between the existing wall and new panel wall shall be provided with fireblocking in accordance with Section 718.3, CBC. Please provide detail of fireblocking and cross-reference detail onto the plan. Sheet A9.41: Detail 1 – Please revise detail to show flush level landing at the exterior door.
