The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
Sheet A101: It appears that there was no demo work on the existing house. Please remove/delete statement indicated as “Demo First Floor” and “Demo Floor Plan”. The permit application is only for the foundation repair and improvement.
Sheet A101: Please note on plan, “THE EXISTING FLOOR PLAN IS FOR REFERENCE ONLY. IT’S NOT PART OF THIS REVIEW AND APPROVAL.”
Sheet S1: Please provide the following
Helical anchors and piers: Please revise detail to be legible, and provide details for raised-floor foundation condition.
On the plan, please provide ICC / UL listing number for the preapproved foundation reinforced/repair system (helical piers and anchors).
On the plan, please provide procedures for the proposed foundation repair/improvement.
Sheet 1: Please submit foundation plans to the geotechnical engineer of record for review and approval. The foundation plan shall be “reviewed” stamped by the geotechnical engineer of record for general conformance with the geotechnical engineer’s recommendation.
Soil report: Please revise/provide soil report recommendations for the existing raised floor foundation, which reflects to the existing building condition, and the proposed Helical piers and anchors.
