If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have abandoned / expired after 180 days of the date of filing, unless such application has been issued. Sheet 1 of NN. Sheet Index: Please note “M.E.P. ARE UNDER SEPARATE REVIEW”.Sheet Index: Reminder – Please transfer handwritten note to the electronic file prior to reprinting. Sheet G.002: Please remove note indicated “NOT FOR CONSTRUCTION” from final submittal. Apply to all sheets. Site Plan: Site plan was not provided. Please provide a site plan showing property lines, all buildings/structures located on the same lot. Show location of the building with the proposed T.I; accessible route from public sidewalk and from accessible parking stalls to the building primary entrance, include accessible parking stall and details, ramps and details, detectable warning and detail. Sheet G-008:Break room: The occupant load of the breakroom is exceeding 49 – Doors serving the area shall swing in the direction of travel (outward). Please coordinate and revise plans accordingly. Code Analysis: The square footage of all the areas did not add up – Please clarify the area breakdown and total floor area. On the plan, please provide tactile exit sings per Section 1013.4 and 11B-216.4. Sheet A-211: Breakroom doors – Please coordinate with the egress plan for door swing direction. Drinking fountain is considered part of the required accessible path of travel upgrade. Please provide/update drinking fountains to comply with Section 11B-602 for high and low requirement, and including the pedestrian protection. Provide section at the breakroom counter surface to show reach ranges complying with 11B-308.3, including electrical receptacle outlet height. Sheet A-215: Counter at the service area: Provide/show accessible counter space with maximum 34” height. Sheet A-213: Wall line type on the floor plan did not match with the Wall Legend. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Wall between the elevator lobby and the utility room 405 should be a fire-rated wall for the continuation of the existing fire-rated corridor; therefore, please verify and provide fire-rated wall where the restroom door has been moved back. On the plan, please specify wall type for the new wall between corridor and elevator lobby. Wall type: For clarity, please clearly reference to sheet A-500 for wall detail. Wall type D called out at Men Restroom between the restroom and Utility room 405 appear incorrect. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. (End of Comment)
