All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)
- County of Orange Health Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings ((714)433-6000)Reminder:Grease interceptor may be required. Please contact Public Works for grease interceptor requirement. Sheet A1: On the plan, please provide/show an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the building accessible entrance. 2nd Review Comment: The location of the accessible route showed on plan did not match with the approved plans under PC# 101108809. The accessible route is coming from the front of the Grocery Store. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Sheet A2: Please provide/show curb ramp and provide detectable warning. Provide detail and clearly cross-reference detail onto the plan. 2nd Review Comment: The accessible route from the public sidewalk is coming from the Grocery Store. Please coordinate and revise plan accordingly. Sheet A3: Access to the restroom shall not go through the area that designate for employee only, such as kitchen, storage room, and similar use. Please redesign the floor plan so that restroom can be accessed by both customer and employee. 2nd Review Comment: Restroom facility shall be provided for employee and customer per CPC 422.4 and must be accessible per CPC 422.1. Please revise floor plan to give access to the existing restroom at the rear of the building. Sheet A7: Section C: Please coordinate with structural detail on the structural sheet (S1) for construction material and counter space. 2nd Review Comment: Structural detail C/S1 – Please revise detail to provide maximum height of 43”. Sheet S1: Wall Detail C: Please show wall support at base of low wall. Check wall for out-of-plane load.
