If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A2: On the plan, please provide an accessible route from the public sidewalk to the primary accessible entrance. Accessible route shall be 5% slope maximum, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% maximum cross-slope. 2nd Review Comment: Accessible route from the public sidewalk was not provided. Please provide an accessible route from the public sidewalk (on First Street) to the building accessible entrance. Accessible route shall be 5% slope maximum, measured in the direction of travel, and 2% maximum cross-slope. Accessible path of travel that exceeding 5% slope shall be designed as ramp in accordance with Section 11B-405.3rd Review Comment: New accessible ramp connecting to the public sidewalk – Please revise plan to provide/show minimum 6-ft landing at the bottom landing of the ramp. The 6-ft landing shall locate within the site boundary (onsite); the public sidewalk shall not be used as part of the required landing. Please confirm and clarify as it stated on sheet A4 as “NO WORK TO BE DONE ON THIS AREA”. Please contact Planning Division for the change of use and revise permit application and plans accordingly.
