If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - School District Compliance Certificate; a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of work. Refer to the attached handout.An application for a permit for any proposed work shall be deemed to have abandoned / expired after 180 days of the date of filing, unless such application has been issued.Sheet TS-1: Sheet Index – Please note MEP are under separate review. Sheet a1.1: Interior wall panels – On the plan, please provide ICC/UL report number for the panelized wall system.2nd Review Comment: The prefabricated wall panel system shall be tested and listed by a nationally recognized testing agency (such as ICC or UL). Provide construction details to show connection of wall panel to structural members above and to slab below. Wall support shall be designed for out-of-plane load. 2nd Review Comment: Detail 3 provided on sheet a1.1 was incomplete. Please provide the following: Note indicated “See Structural calcs for verification” for the top wall attachment but structural calculation was not provided. Please provide calculation for wall attachment. Please provide detail to show fastener of floor track to floor slab. Sheet a1.1: On the plan, please specify door schedule and door hardware. Door hardware: Note on plan – Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9) Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. Sink and counter – Please provide counter top elevation. Sink and counter top shall be accessible to the persons with disabilities. 2nd Review Comment: Detail provided a1.1 – Detail showed reaching range of 48” height, please revise detail to show the obstruction not more than 10”, measured from the wall to the edge of the obstruction. Structural calculation: Please revise calculation to show reflect with the 2022 CBC and current Design Standards. 2nd Review Comment: Plans were incomplete. The structural plans were missing from the second submittal. Please provide three (3) complete updated plans, which should include architectural and structural plans. (End of Comment)
