Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. Sheet 1: Please revise plan to provide minimum 5-ft setback from the property line, measured to the edge of the roof overhang. Applicable Codes: Please include the 2022 California Residential Code. Plan shall be legible. Sheet 2: Plan shall be legible. Please revise all details and notes to be legible. For consistency with post size (6x8), please revise framing plan to provide/specify 6x12 beams for the perimeter beams. Section A: Please revise section to specify 6x12 beam to match framing plan. Detail “B” ALTERNATE is insufficient. Please omit/delete detail. Lateral resisting: The structural calculation design the wood posts as cantilever post – Please provide detail to show connection of wood post to foundation as fixed connection. Design connection as moment connection at base. Design foundation/footing for overturning moment. Deep footing may be required. *REVISED PLANS SHALL BE LEGIBLE.
