If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)4th Submittal Review Comment: Responses were incomplete. The following comments remain applicable. For clarity, the previous review comments have been revised.Sheet AA-1.1: Per Wall Legend, all new walls are one-hour wall. Please confirm. Wall WT-1 assembly detail: provided one (1) layer of ½” gypsum board on each side does not provide a one-hour fire-rated assembly. Please revise detail to show/provide minimum 5/8” type ‘X’ gypsum board on each side for one-hour fire-rated wall assembly. Reminder: all information shall be legible – check print prior to resubmit to the City for review and approval. Detail 3 for ADA reach range: For clarity, please clearly cross-reference detail onto the floor plan where they are applicable. Waiting area: Please show/provide a 30”x48” wheelchair space at the waiting area. Type III-A construction building: Walls and structural frames supporting the new mezzanine space shall be protected with minimum one-hour rated assembly. Please clearly show details and clearly cross-reference details onto the plan. Type III-A construction building: Mezzanine floor shall be constructed with one-hour fire-rated floor assembly. Please provide details and clearly cross-reference details onto the plan. Structural supports for the proposed mezzanine: Provide details to show fire protection for structural frames, such as beams and posts. Provide details and clearly cross-reference onto the plan.
