Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuancePlease identify type of the business and provide tenant information on the cover sheet.Provide the following: - Provide a fully dimensioned site plan on each set of plans. - Disabled access compliance must be shown on the site plan. - Show all property lines of record on the site plan. Provide scale for exiting plan.Demo plan on sheet A1-0, does not match sheet A-0.5 B.Provide height for all doors. Show minimum clear 48” landing at door #312.Provide minimum 60” landing at the door # 300B. Provide minimum 12” clearance to the strike edge of door #305. Please identify if there is a door with a card reader, if there is please show on the floor plan and add to the job description. Provide note from section 1010.2.12, for electric card reader access door. Show key card access complies with accessibility.CBC Section 1007.1.1,Two exits or exit access doorways. Where two exits or exit access doorways are required from any portion of the exit access, the exit doors or exit access doorways shall be placed a distance apart equal to not less than one-half of the length of the maximum overall diagonal dimension of the building or area to be served measured in a straight line between exit doors . when a building is equipped with an automatic sprinkler system the separation distance shall be not less than 1 /3 or exit access doorways. ( Exit separation shall be 34’ but 28’ provided )CBC Section 11B-404.2.7, Note on the drawings: “Maximum effort to operate doors shall not exceed 5 pounds for exterior doors and interior doors, such pull or push effort being applied at right angles to hinged doors and at the center place of sliding or folding doors. Compensating devices or automatic door operators may be utilized to meet the above standards. When fire doors are required, the maximum effort to operate the door may be increased to the minimum allowable by the appropriate administrative authority, not to exceed 15 pounds. Provide 12” clearance to the strike edge of women’s bathroom toilet door.Show sink in the breakroom complies with accessibility.Drawings submitted to the Building Division for review shall provide the following information to insure compliance with CBC Section 11B-202.4: - An accessible entrance - An accessible route to the altered area - Accessible restrooms - Accessible telephone (if any) - Accessible drinking fountains, and - Parking, signage and alarmsProvide a continuous walking surface from each exit door to public way. Provide site plan and show streets on the site plan.If a walk crosses or adjoins a vehicular way, and the walking surfaces are not separated by curbs, railings or other elements between the pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the boundary between the areas shall be defined by a continuous detectable warning which is 36” wide, complying with the CBC Section 11B-247.1.2.5 detectable warning shall be on the flat landing. Provide slope. Width of the van accessible parking shall be minimum 9’ wide.( detail 1)Complete the attached Disabled Accessibility Documentation Form.Provide a complete suspended ceiling system plan and section detail showing the following: ( For new T-bar ceiling) - Vertical supports - Seismic wires - Seismic strut/Compression strut - Perimeter wires - Separate fixture wires for lights and mechanical devices - ICC Research Report number for the suspended ceilingDetail 2/A9.1, provide bracing at both direction.
