A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.Provide note on the title sheet: “Building/Suite/Unit shall not be occupied until a permit for tenant improvements is issued and finaled.”Permits for interior demolition work for commercial and industrial buildings (for example: demolition of partition walls and ceiling) are considered an “alteration” requiring improvements for disabled accessibility in accordance with CBC Section 11B-202.3.Compliance may be accomplished by one of the following:1.The legal property owner of the building to write a letter to the building official acknowledging that the building will not be occupied until a permit for a tenant improvement (T.I.) has been obtained and finalized.2.As part of the demolition permit, the owner spends at least 20% of the valuation of improvements on priority items listed under CBC Section 11B-202.4. This requires plans to be prepared and submitted for plan check. Add note below to the demolition plan.3.If tenant improvement plans have been submitted, reference the plan check number on the partial demolition permit.
