Structural Plan Review Comments:
Sheet S-1
General requirement #27, design data: SEOR to revise design coefficient to ASCE 7-16 which it is the current adapted code per CBC 2022
[Comment not resolve – SEOR to revise seismic coefficient to match with calculation per ASCE 7-16]
Partial Roof Framing Plan
Provide detail connection for (N) 4x10 ceiling beam to 4x8 header connection
[Comment resolved]
Provide detail connection for (N) ridge board to (E) ridge beam connection detail
[Comment resolved]
Provide (N) valley beam size and calculation. Coordinate with architectural drawings
[Comment resolved]
Partial Foundation Plan
SEOR to coordinate detail reference for 13/S-1 and 14/S-1 with detail 11B/S-1. Both detail 13 and 14 shown L-shape footing vs detail 11B shown T-shape footing. Revise details to match with each other
[Comment not resolve – SEOR to coordinate detail 13/S-1 and 14/S-1 with detail 11B/S-1; details are not consistent]
SEOR to coordinate detail 11A/S-1 call out on partial foundation plan. Detail callout minimum 24” deep footing where plan reference callout 18” deep
[Comment resolved]
Detail 1: provide hurricane tie to resist wind uplift.
Structural Calculation
Ceiling Beam #3: ceiling beam design should include ceiling framing load since it is taking gravity load from roof framing and ceiling load
[Comment resolved]
SEOR to revise wind load calculation using ASCE 7-16
