The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
Sheet A-0: City of Santa Ana did not adopt the City of Los Angles Codes and Ordinances, please revise/remove notes specified and referenced to City of Los Angles.
Sheet A-0: Structural observation note – Please confirm whether the structural observation is required for this project. Revise notes and information to reflect with the proposed project. Delete/remove information that does not apply to the project.

Sheet A-0: Plot Plan was incomplete. Please provide a complete site plan showing all building located on the same lot and clearly show location where the proposed repaired is occurred.
2nd Review Comment: For clarity, please clearly identify/label “Property Line” on the site plan.
Sheet S-0: City of Santa Ana did not adopt the City of Los Angles Codes and Ordinances, please revise/remove notes specified and referenced to City of Los Angles.

Please revise detail 2 to provide ledger supporting the joist hanger.
2nd Review Comment: Response was incomplete. Detail 2/S-2 show existing floor joists on the inside and new floor joists for the deck. Please coordinate with framing plan on sheet S-1 and revise detail to match framing plan. Provide ledger to support new deck joists.
Revise detail to provide lateral support for the balcony with positive connection to the main floor diaphragm.
2nd Review Comment: Framing plan and detail 2 did not show floor joists are cantilevered as responded. Please coordinate and revise plans accordingly.
Detail 1: Please revise footing detail to provide minimum 24” deep footing.
Structural calculation: For consistency with the applicable Codes, please revise structural calculation and update computer software to show the current Codes and Design Standards.
