All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 3corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Plan was incomplete. Please provide the following basic information for plan review and will continue at time of resubmittal: Site plan: Clearly identify property line (PL) and show dimension of building setback from the property lines. Building Analysis: Please provide a complete Building Code analysis, including existing building area, addition floor area, total building area, allowable area, building type of construction, occupancy groups, applicable codes and standards, etc. Provide floor plan of existing building and new addition. Provide/show egress/exit plan for the building (existing and addition). The addition shall not block the existing exit or exit access. Any alteration or addition to the existing building, accessibility requirement shall be required in accordance with 11B-202. Please provide/show accessible parking stalls and provide an accessible route from the accessible parking spaces to the building entrance. Provide/show accessible restroom facility complying with Chapter 11B, Division 6 and show accessible route to the area of alteration/addition. Provide building elevations and building sections. Scope of work specified 18’ height structure. However, structural calculation indicated 13-ft maximum. Please coordinate and revise information to be consistence. Structural design: Please clarify how the cross-bracing roof works. Please clarify why cross-bracing is not required for the roof diaphragm between gridline B-C. It was not clearly what are the lateral resisting system for the proposed structure. Please clearly specify/identify lateral resisting system for the proposed metal structure and provide complete lateral analysis for both directions. Detail 3 & 5 on sheet S3: Please provide supporting plate to provide supporting plate on both side of the HSS beam or below the beam; otherwise, design the anchor and plate for the eccentric load.
