Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer. CBC Sections A106.1 and A106.3.4.1.Please refer to red marks on the drawings for additional plan check comments. Revise drawings to show compliance.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance: - Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714) 573-6100). - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840). - Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Orange County Sanitation District (714) 593-5756Plan review comments:Provide written response to each comment to avoid plan check delayed or multiple review cycles. Also see item #2 above.Sheet A1-0. Please include all structural sheets in the Table of Contents.Sheet A1-0. Please increase the text height to be clear and legible for the proposed work on the site plan. The current text are too small to read.Please show on the site plan the distance from the underground water tank well to the fence wall at the property line and to the CO2 tanks. The distance is required to verify and justify the surcharge on the retaining wall design.Retaining walls notes on sheet S-0.55 requires 12” CMU where against the building. Please show location where the existing footing adjacent to the proposed retaining walls with distance called out and provide calculation to justify the building surcharge into the retaining wall design.Sheet S-0.52 is not submitted. In addition, provide plan view for layout of the thread rod anchorage location with spacing called out for the 24” diameter CO2 tankon sheet S-0.52.Sheet S-0.55. Water pit wall requires guards along the perimeter of its edge on top of the retaining walls. CBC 1015.2 - Guards shall be located along open-sided walking surfaces, including mezzanines, equipment platforms, aisles, stairs, ramps and landings that are located more than 30 inches measured vertically to the floor or grade below at any point within 36 inches horizontally to the edge of the open side. Guards shall be adequate in strength and attachment in accordance with Section 1607.9.Required guards shall not have openings that allow passage of a sphere 4 inches (102 mm) in diameter from the walking surface to the required guard height.Incomplete structural calculation. Please do not submit partial structural calculation as “updated”, “addendum” or “only response to correction comment”. Provide two complete pages of structural calculation for all design, stapled together, stamped and signed by the licensed design professional for final approval.END OF COMMENTS
