All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)Sheet A1.0: The Suite 1264 will be deactivate. Please revise plans to delete suite 1264 S. Lyon. Applies to all sheets. Line of accessible path of travel: Please correct typo (spelling) for word “indicates”. Scope of work: Please include the legalizing of the existing opening between the office area. Sheet A2.0: Please revise Title Block for the floor plan to specify “Floor Plan – Proposed”. Floor Plan: Please delete/remove text indicated “Suite 1264”. New beam: For industry standard – Please revise plan to specify beam width x depth (3.5 x 24 PSL). The existing wall was a structural wall. Please provide structural calculation and details for the new header, posts at the new opening. Details shall clearly be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. Check existing footing for the concentrated loads from the supporting post. Engineer of record to verify and confirm whether the existing wall to be removed was a structural shear wall. Provide calculation to justify the remaining shear walls are sufficient to resist the lateral loads, as necessary. State all assumption. Signage & Alarms: Please describe what signage and alarms are provided as part of the accessible upgrade. There is no permit record for the existing opening between the office area. It should consider as part of this permit application and provide information for the opening, including structural frames and calculation. The project value of $5000.00 is too low for the proposed works (removing a structural walls). Please reevaluate the construction cost and revise the Disable Access Compliance Documentation Form accordingly. Plan was incomplete. Additional review comments may be required at time of resubmittal.
