All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714) 573-6100).
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).PLAN CHECK COMMENTSSheet G-100. On the cover sheet, please indicate type of construction for the fueling station canopy. Refer to canopy on sheet C-202.PC2: Please note type of construction on the first sheet.Sheet C-202. Add note on plan: “The vehicle shall be fueled on noncoated concrete or other approved paving material having a resistance not exceeding 1 megohm as determined by the methodology in CEN EN 1081.” (CBC 406.7.1)Sheet C-202. Specify construction material of the canopy on plan. Canopy and its supports over pumps shall be noncombustible materials or other approved materials comply with CBC 406.7.2.Structural plans and the cover page of the structural calculation shall be stamped, dated and provided the signature date.PC2:All the equipment details on sheet C-400 through C-404 shall be stamped and signed by the same structural engineer, Dustin K. Rosepink who prepares structural calculation.All pages of calculation must be stapled or bound. Please do not use paper clip.Sheet C-202. Provide structural framing plan, foundation plan and structural details for the 16’x24’ canopy structural design.PC2:Sheet S1.1 through S1.3 shall be stamped and signed by the engineer of record who design the canopy.Provide structural calculation to design the canopy by the same engineer of record.Sheet C-403 detail 1. Provide structural calculation to verify the depth of the concrete light pole footing and design and specify the anchor bolts on plan.Sheet C-404.
