If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)Sheet A2.0: Check existing footing for the concentrated loads from the supporting post. 2nd Review Comment: The existing footing is 18” deep measured from top of slab to bottom of footing, per approved plan. Please revise calculation accordingly. Enlarged footing may be required. There is no permit record for the existing opening between the office area. It should consider as part of this permit application and provide information for the opening, including structural frames and calculation. 2nd Review Comment: Detail 3/A2.0 – 2x trimer with toe nails are insufficient. Please revise plan and detail to provide 4x post with post cap supporting the ceiling beam. The existing 4x4 post cut to fit to new beam – Please reinforce post with post cap (Simpson AC) between the 4x4 to beam.
