All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A-0.1: Separate Permits – Please revise notes to specify/include the files storage shelving are under a separate permit (see sheet A-2.2 for shelving layout). Sheet A-2.0: Per revision job description provided to permit staff (see below), please clarify revision (changes) on the plan. Otherwise, clarify provided revision note for suite 210. Automatic doors: Please provide the following requirement for electronically locked egress doors: The door hardware that is affixed to the door leaf has an obvious method of operation that is readily operated under all lighting conditions. The door hardware is capable of being unlatch of any door or leaf for egress shall required not more than one motion in a single linear or rotational direction to release all latching and all locking devices. Operation of the door hardware directly interrupts the power to the electric lock and unlocks the door immediately. Loss of power to the electric locking system automatically unlocks the door. Where panic hardware is provided, operation of the panic hardware also releases the electric lock. The locking system units shall be listed in accordance with UL 294.Sheet A-2.2: Please provide the following – For clarity, please cloud the area where high density shelving system has been removed and omit note 2.1. Please note on plan: Separate permit is required for the file storage shelves. Sheet S-2.3 & S-6.1: Structural plans shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record. (End of comment)
