If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Sheet A0.0: Cover SheetProject Information: Please revise the following information – Type of construction: Per permit record, the building is a type III-B, Sprinkler Building. Please revise type of construction accordingly. Occupancy groups: Please specify occupancy groups – B, M, S-1, per permit record. Number of story: Per permit record, it is a one story building – Please revise plan accordingly. Existing sprinklered building: The new stairway enclosure will be required to be installed sprinklers. Please submit sprinkler plans to Orange County Fire Authority for review and approval. Sheet A0.1: Site Plan Due to the alteration of the existing building, building shall comply with the accessible path of travel per Section 11B-202.4. On the plan, please show location of accessible restroom facilities serving the area of alteration. Provide restroom facilities floor plan and show compliance with Section 11B, Division 6. For clarity, please show dimensions setback between the building and adjacent property lines. Sheet A1.1: Type III-B building: Exterior wall shall be protected with a minimum of 2-hours fire-rated wall assembly. Please specify fire-rated wall and revise construction details for 2-hour fire-rated exterior wall assembly. Provide ICC/UL listing number. Details shall be clearly cross-referenced onto the plan. (Table 601 & Table 705.5). Detail 6/ACCD-1: Please revise metal stud thickness of 16 gauge to match with structural plan. Sheet E0.1 – E6.2 Electrical plans (E sheets): Electrical plans are under a separate permit and review. Please remove the electrical plan sheets from the building plan set. (End of Comment)
