All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.All drawings and supporting documents shall be prepared, stamped and signed by a California licensed architect or registered civil engineer. CBC Sections A106.1 and A106.3.4.1.This review does not include mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler system, or electrical work. Separate plans, applications, fees, plan checks, and permits are required for mechanical, plumbing, fire sprinkler systems, and electrical work. Call 647-5800 for information.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
PLAN CHECK COMMENTSRefer to sheet M-4.1 detail 9, the mechanical units shown in the revised detail are not able to locate on the approved structural framing plan. The previous approved structural framing plans by Petra Structural Engineers must be reviewed and updated to reflect the changes.The structural design of the mechanical unit attachment in detail 9/M-4.1 must be reviewed and approved byPetra Structural Engineers for its connection to their structural framing design.Petra Structural Engineers shall submit sheet S102 and other relevant structural sheets to update the mechanical schedule to make cross-reference those units (RF-1, RF-2) shown in detail 9/M-4.1 and revise framing plan to locate and cross-reference equipment attachment details.Please justify the structural framing design shown on sheet S102 to support the revised mechanical units and their attachment design. Refer to detail 9/M-4.1 note #2.Provide cover page of the new structural calculation. The cover page must include the project address, scope of work, licensed professional’s contact information, stamp, signature and date of the signature.
