Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. - Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100) - Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840) - Proof of Worker’s Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuanceSubmit a signed copy of the contract showing labor and materials for all work to be done under the subject building permit application. The plan check engineer may accept the contract price as the valuation of improvements for unique/unusual projects in lieu of using a cost per square foot basis.Provide complying exiting plan for the “reminder” area. Note the use of adjacent units.Complete the attached Disabled Accessibility Documentation Form.CBC Section 402.8.8 Security grilles and doors. Horizontal sliding or vertical security grilles or doors, which are part of a required means of egress, shall conform to the following: - They must remain secured in the full open position during the period of occupancy by the general public. - Doors or grilles shall not be brought to the closed position when there are more than 10 persons occupying spaces served by a single exit or 50 persons occupying spaces served by more than one exit. - The doors or grilles shall be openable from within without the use of any special knowledge or effort when the space is occupied. - When two or more exits are required, not more than one half of the exits may be equipped with horizontal sliding or vertical rolling grilles or doors. - Note on Drawings: Post a legible sign at security grill/door closing controls stating “Security grill/door shall remain secured in the full open position during the period of occupancy by the general public.”Show all exit doors on the site plan.Provide complete construction detail to support the roll up door.Provide weight of the roll up door on the drawings.
