The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance: -Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process. -Public Works Agency approval (647-5039). - Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance. - School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.Basements, habitable attics, and every sleeping room in dwelling units must have a window or exterior door for an emergency exit, sill height not more than 44 inches above the floor, 5.7 square feet of openable area, 24 inches clear opening height, 20 inches clear opening width and shall open directly into a public street, alley, yard, or exit court. ( Show 44” sill height for all required windows on the elevation)Access shall be provided to all under-floor spaces. The floor access shall be a minimum 18” by 24” and openings through a perimeter wall shall be not less than 16” by 24”. (CRC R408.4) Sheet A2.1,Provide floor access for the addition. Provide details for retrofit shear and tension anchor bolts on plans. Provide calculations as needed. Sheet S2.0, provide for existing foundation. Provide Post/Beam connections. Provide drag from shearwalls to the existing house with detail. Provide at both directions. Sheet S2.2;There is no walls on line X2.1detail 10/S5.0 does not match the location there is no wall. Sheet S2.2, show where 4x6 beam (H1, H4) supported at. Provide wind load in the calculation. Shear wall on line Y1 is not sufficient . 16’ x 38’x3.99 psf( per calculation) = 2426 /3’-6” = 693 required. Sheet S2.2; Provide detail for California framing. Sheet S5.1 is not included. Page 5 of T-24-1 shows windows are existing which they are new. Please revise T-24 accordingly.Indicate all compliance measures from the energy compliance documentation on the plans. (i.e., Insulation for sections, U-factors SHGC). Revise door and window schedule or floor plans to show compliance. There are wood windows that comply with Energy requirements.
