All items noted on this plan check report must be addressed. If you feel that an item is not applicable to your project, note “N/A” and discuss the reason with the plan checker.Please indicate the sheet number and detail to the right of each correction, or note the number on the plans where the correction is made. Resubmit marked original, calculations and this correction sheet. A separate sheet for response may be used.Resubmit 2corrected sets of plans.The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following prior to building permit issuance:
- Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804.) Previously approved plans
should be submitted to expedite the process.
- Fire Department approval on the corrected/final sets of drawings ((714)573-6100)
- Public Works Agency approval (647-5039)Plans shall be stamped, signed and dated by a California registered civil engineer or licensed architect. Transfer all handwritten notes onto the electronic file prior to printing for resubmittal. On the plan, please specify applicable Codes: 2022 CBC, CEC, CPC, CMC, CFC. On the cover sheet, provide Sheet Index. Reminder: Revise Drawing No. accordingly. Means on egress shall be continuous to the public right away and shall not be obstructed. On the plan, provide/show pedestrian gates. Pedestrian gates: Provide the following information – Provide pedestrian gates dimensions and operable hardware information. Provide elevation with 10” smooth surface at the bottom of gate, on the push side. Show gate operable hardware height Provide level landing on both side of the pedestrian gate. Landing shall not encroached into the public right of way. Provide 60” maneuver space on the pull side with 24” clear for the strike edge; 48” on the push side. (11B-404)Pedestrian gates: Provide panic hardware. Provide the following notes on the plan: Egress doors/gates shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. (1010.1.9)Openable parts of such hardware shall be 34 inches minimum and 44 inches maximum above the finish floor or ground. The force for pushing or pulling open a door shall be 5-lb maximum. Operable parts shall be operable with one hand and shall not require tight grasping, pinching, or twisting of the wrist. Structural calculation package: Calculation must be legible. Please revise information on page 1 and 2. Plans and calculations shall be stamped, signed and dated by the engineer of record. Structural calculation: Could not locate footing calculation. Please provide calculation for the footing supporting the gate and fencing. Revise details to provide rebars. (End of Comment)
