The applicant shall obtain clearances/approvals for the following, prior to building permit issuance:
-Planning Division approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5804). Previously
approved plans should be submitted to expedite the process.
-Police Department approval on the corrected/final set of drawings (647-5840).
-Public Works Agency approval (647-5039).
- Proof of Worker's Compensation Insurance shall be required at the time of permit issuance.
- School District Compliance Certificate; and a copy of the building permit application, signed by
the plan check engineer, shall be required by the School District to verify the scope of the work.

Please reproduce the Detached ADU Grading Permit Waiver Request on the plan.
2nd Review Comment: Sheet G-1, Grading Waiver – The property does not locate in FEMA Flood Zone A. Please check/mark “YES” on item #1.
Please verify and specify on the plan whether the existing house is equipped with Automatic Fire Sprinkler or not.
2nd Review Comment: The existing house is sprinklered; therefore, the new ADU shall be provided with Automatic Fire Sprinkler. Please revise plan to specify Sprinkler for new ADU. Specify “Sprinkler will be submitted to OCFA for review and approval”.
